Join the award-winning team at Orlando Regional Medical Center as a Lead MRI Technologist and play a key role in delivering exceptional diagnostic imaging services while providing leadership and support to the MRI team.
Schedule:
- Tuesday – Friday
- 5:30 PM – 4:00 AM
- Full-Time
What You'll Do:
- Perform advanced MRI procedures while ensuring patient safety and quality imaging standards.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and daily operational support to MRI staff.
- Assist with workflow coordination, scheduling, and departmental efficiency initiatives.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory, safety, and Orlando Health standards.
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver outstanding patient care.

Education/Training
• Graduate of accredited school of Radiologic Technology OR,
• Graduate of accredited school of Sonography OR,
• Graduate of an accredited school of Nuclear Medicine OR,
• Graduate of an approved MRI technologist program through American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT)
Licensure/Certification
• Must have one (1) of the following:
• Valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification OR,
• Valid American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) certification OR,
• Valid Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) certification
• Valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification (MRI) or Graduate of an approved MRI technologist program through American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT)
• Maintains current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.
• Valid Certified Radiologic Technologist licensure by the State of Florida (Preferred).
Experience
• Mandatory minimum of two (2) years MRI experience and experience in one or more of the following areas:
• Advanced imaging experience and proficiency, including 3D Lab, IR procedural imaging, Breast imaging or Cardiac imaging.
• Site proctor/preceptor for onboarding new hires and cross-training.
• Primary responsibility: Dual imaging roles, with current proficiency and routinely performing in secondary modality
