Abortion Care: At PPRM, we all work in abortion care. This role supports abortion care through direct clinical triage, patient education, and follow-up, ensuring timely and empathetic support to those navigating abortion services.
Ideal Candidate:
- At least 3 years of HR experience, with at least 1 year working with leave administration, or similar experience.
- You have moderate MS Excel skills and are excellent at using technology, such as MS Office, to maintain the workflow.
- You are able to use math skills to calculate PTO, attendance, and leave time.
What You'll Do:
You support employee leave administration, workers compensation, and ADA accommodations through quality customer support, reporting, process implementation and documentation, employee and supervisor guides and resources, status tracking, and data entry. You ensure program compliance while providing exceptional customer service.
- Support employees in navigating leave and sick time. Ensure employees are aware of their responsibilities and of any documentation and notice required to qualify for and take leave.
- Support employees in their use of PTO and ensure the system supports employee use, supervisory oversight, and regulatory compliance appropriately.
- Maintain appropriate communication with employees on leave to facilitate smooth and timely return to work.
- Coordinate intermittent leave tracking with employees and supervisors. Support supervisors in attendance tracking.
- Communicate with supervisors regarding leave status and updates. Provide resources and support to supervisors in preparing for a leave of absence or accommodation to ensure team support, uplift operational problem-solving, and seamless transition of projects and knowledge.
- Process leave requests and paperwork, monitoring for compliance and escalating complex situations
- Ensure a complete leave/ADA record including live tracking of status. Provide status updates and reporting.
- Coordinate with Payroll and other members of the HR team to ensure a successful and accurate payroll, especially to track the correct processing and payment for leaves of absence, PTO, and sick time. Conducts regular audits.
- Processes Workers Compensation requests and coordinates the annual audit.
- Supports employees navigating the Long-Term Disability process.
Agency and HR Support:
- Acts as a primary contact in the HR and Leave inboxes, supporting triage and answering questions.
- Supports the recording of processes across the HR department, creating checklists, flow charts, process documents, and ensure information on the intranet is up to date and accessible.
- Supports HR data entry, filing, requirements tracking, and auditing as needing. Acts as a back-up in other areas of HR.
Salary Range: $27.87 - $35.31/hour
*Although our full pay range is included above, the budgeted hiring range for new hires is $27.87 - $31.59/hour and based on related professional experience
