Position Duties
This position helps ensure that residents receive consistent, safe, and respectful nursing care in a supportive environment. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will perform the following duties:
- Health Assessment Support: Assist the RN by checking resident health status and ensuring accurate and confidential documentation
- Medication Management: Administer medications and treatments, verify pharmacy orders, and maintain accurate records
- Resident Observation: Observe residents for changes or concerns and report findings while documenting daily care activities
- Care Coordination: Work with the RN to help plan and adjust resident care and participate in nursing committees when needed
- Safety and Hygiene: Ensure residents are clean, safe, and well groomed while supporting infection control practices
- Specialized Care: Provide focused care for residents in specialty units such as Alzheimer care

Work Hours and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment; 75 hours biweekly
- 10:45am - 11:45pm
- Work every other weekend
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting salary of $68,914.00 (before taxes).

Minimum Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
Necessary Special Requirements:- This position requires active authorization to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Pennsylvania.
- All employees possessing an active temporary practice permit must obtain licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse within the one (1) year period defined by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing.
- PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title.
- If you are within 60 days of completing a licensed practical nursing program approved by the State Board of Nursing, you are eligible to apply for this job posting. At the time of appointment to a position, you must show proof of possession of a current, valid PA temporary practice permit or PA Licensed Practical Nurse license.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.

- This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
