This position contributes to Starbucks success by providing day-to-day support to the distribution and logistics department. Models and acts in accordance with Starbucks guiding principles.  

 

As a logistics coordinator, you will… 

 

Coordinate with distribution/logistics supervisor regarding truck deliveries and loading plans.  

 

Direct drivers to appropriate receiving locations.  

 

Prepare all shipping documents, including freight bills and UPS/FedEx for outgoing shipments in a timely and accurate manner. 

 

Perform all shipping transactions in ERP system to support shipments. 

Work with customs brokers and freight carriers.  

 

Support both internal and external customers to ensure on-time-delivery is maintained.  

 

Complete data entry and file shipment documentation for tracking and accuracy. 

Communicate and respond directly with internal and external customers regarding status of shipment and addresses any concerns.  

 

Assist in coordinating movement of raw materials. 

 

Understand and follow established safety guidelines, programs, and procedures; and actively works to prevent safety incidents.  

 

Support food safety, legality, and quality programs. 

 

Maintain product quality through adherence to good manufacturing practices, Food Safety Preventative Controls, product specifications and quality procedures. 

 

Perform other duties as needed in support of business objectives and Starbucks Mission & Values.  

 

Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
