Duties
You will lead, manage, and execute logistics operations encompassing planning, funding, coordination, and evaluation of logistical activities supporting the NSW mission, which includes air, maritime, dive, and weapons programs.,You will perform independent assessments of logistics processes, providing recommendations for improvement, monitoring funding milestones for adequacy and timeliness, and fostering collaboration across departments to integrate logistical initiatives.,You will manage and execute contracting actions, overseeing supply, procurement, and quality assurance activities vital to operational sustainability, developing solutions to critical issues requiring command attention etc.,You will review cardholder statements and documentation for compliance and mission relevance, employing systems such as NPR and automated GCPC management tools.,You will manage procurement documentation, equipment, and personnel tracking; preparing weekly OPTAR and TADTAR reports; formulating long-term procurement strategies; and responding promptly to data requests from higher echelons.,You will coordinate with command departments to identify material, services and training requirements and the best execution practices to prevent shortfalls in material support requirements, revisions to current spend plans etc.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Managing logistics operations, including the planning, funding, coordination, and/or evaluation of supply and procurement activities; utilizing automated systems such as R-supply or DAI to process requisitions and manage financial obligations; conducting independent assessments of logistical processes, ensuring purchasing compliance and/or auditable financial tracking.
