How You’ll Contribute

Canyon Vista Medical Group is comprised of a diverse group of physicians. Collectively, we have been meeting patients’ needs for more than 75 years. With an emphasis on customer-focused quality healthcare and patient safety. Under the direction of an RN or Med-Surge Charge Nurse, the LPN contributes to the assessment of patients by collecting data for analysis by an RN.
Essential Functions: 

• Performs plan of care interventions, including specimen collection and wound care
• May administer medication.
• Documents patient care given.
• Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
• Assists patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
• Monitors, documents, and communicates patient's status and reactions to interventions with RN, physician, patient, and families

What we’re looking for:

Applicants should have a current Arizona or compact state LPN license and completion of a Practical Nursing Program from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:

• Must have completed an LPN or LVN program.
• Must have an active Arizona or Compact LPN License.
• 1 year of experience preferred.
• Must have BCLS
