Partners with Epic Application Managers to ensure training reflects current system build, payer requirements, and operational workflows. Continuously improves training effectiveness using performance metrics, audit results, denial trends, and user feedback.
  • Serves as the educational leader supporting revenue cycle workflow standardization, efficiency, and
compliance. Partners with revenue cycle leaders to identify workflow gaps impacting financial performance and user adoption. Supports change management efforts by addressing adoption risks and training gaps during system and operational changes.
  • Participates in Epic governance, revenue cycle councils, and change control processes. Ensures education supports regulatory requirements (e.g., CMS, billing compliance, coding standards) and internal audit readiness. Promotes consistent documentation, billing practices, and workflow adherence across the organization. Identifies and escalates risks related to user readiness, compliance exposure, or revenue leakage.
  • Collaborates with Epic Application Managers (e.g., Resolute Hospital Billing, Professional Billing, Cadence, Prelude) to align build and training. Partners with revenue cycle operations, finance, compliance, and IT leadership to drive enterprise initiatives. Serves as an escalation point for revenue cycle training and adoption issues.
  • Maintains responsibility for department’s operational excellence; ensures department delivers quality services in accordance with applicable policies, procedures, and professional standards.
