This individual will drive complex, cross-functional projects to design and operationalize innovative care models that improve patient outcomes, experience, and cost of care. This role requires a strategic thinker and operational leader who excels in navigating ambiguity and collaborating across diverse stakeholder groups. The Manager will lead initiatives spanning multiple workstreams within DaVita Integrated Kidney Care (IKC), ensuring clinical programs are thoughtfully designed and effectively executed. The Manager will work on a team of highly motivated individuals with backgrounds in healthcare strategy, change management, and clinical operations. This highly visible and cross-functional role will partner directly with leaders across DaVita Integrated Kidney Care (IKC) to drive forward the organization’s transformation efforts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Coordinate all aspects of model of care for our Care Coordinators (training, resources, feedback loops)
Facilitate the creation and implementation of new processes to support the care coordinator role
Ideate, build, and scale new operational processes to enable improved care for our patients (test pilots, assist with scaling)
Facilitate regular workgroup meetings to align & operationalize strategies related to Care Coordinators
Communicate clearly and effectively with a variety of clinical and business stakeholders through written and verbal communication
Other duties as assigned
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree required
4+ years of experience in healthcare-related fields required
Experience developing and managing direct reports required
Highly collaborative with the ability to impact change
Healthcare Program Management experience required
Experience designing, implementing and maintaining strategic healthcare initiatives required
Experience addressing social drivers of health preferred
Experience running and testing healthcare pilot programs preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Additional Qualifications:
Demonstrated ability to recognize, prioritize, and evaluate workload and specific growth opportunities
Possesses the ability to balance strategic vision and execution capabilities to deliver results
Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
Comfort with ambiguity
Outstanding conceptual, analytical and strategic skills; strong business and financial acumen with a sense of shareholder responsibility
Strong executive communication skills
Ability to effectively handle and drive multiple projects with multiple teams
Willingness to understand the complexity of healthcare markets
