 Job Summary

Deaconess Hospital is seeking a skilled and motivated Hospital Practice Manager to oversee pulmonary and critical care inpatient services across multiple campuses. This leadership role is vital to ensuring seamless operations, high-quality care, and effective provider support. The Practice Manager of Hospital Based Physicians is responsible for the leadership, direction, coordination and management of the daily operations and personnel of the department assigned. The Practice Manager of Hospital Based Physicians assures that the department functions efficiently to support the physicians and/or midlevel providers in providing safe and compassionate patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate daily staffing for physicians and advanced practice providers
• Manage team communication platform
• Provide EPIC support for providers
• Lead quality analytics and reporting for pulmonary and critical care services
• Oversee provider personnel file maintenance
• Conduct routine coding analysis and education; identify coding optimization opportunities to enhance revenue
• Monitor, update, and create policies to ensure compliance
• Collaborate with physicians and APPs to drive continuous improvement in clinical operations

Education and Experience

• Requires a clinical background with strong knowledge of inpatient workflows
• Experience in hospital operations or provider management preferred

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) required
