Job Description
You will be the Manufacturing Engineer Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control in Chelmsford, MA. Our team is responsible for designing, fabricating, and qualifying microwave hybrid assemblies that support critical aerospace and defense programs.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Manufacturing Engineer you will be responsible for defining processes, troubleshooting hardware, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Gain an understanding of all assembly techniques and materials used to produce microwave hybrids including substrate and die epoxy attach as well as wire bonding.
- You should have experience with J-STD-001 solder assembly, conductive epoxy attach of substrates and semiconductor die, gold wedge and ball-bonding, and seal / hermeticity testing.
- You'll design the sequence of operations and specify procedures for the fabrication of tooling and other functions that affect product performance.
- You will inspect performance of machinery, equipment, and tools to verify their efficiency.
- You'll investigate hardware failures and initiate corrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure product quality.
- Ensure processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations.

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline from an accredited college or university.
• Must be a US citizen with ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance within one year of start date.

Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $67,000 - $117,990. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
