About this role

Job Description:

Individuals will be responsible for troubleshooting and conducting tests on a variety of RF or digital printed circuit boards, subassemblies, or end products. Individuals will be working with a variety of new and customer-owned fielded equipment. Intermediate troubleshooting skills are required. This will include troubleshooting circuit board failures to component level. Mentor and develop team members to enhance their skills and ensure they are equipped to meet the company’s standards and objectives.

Essential Functions:

  • Responsible for conducting tests on a variety of RF or digital printed circuit boards, subassemblies, or end products
  • Must be capable of using a variety of test equipment, logging information in technical databases and having a basic understanding of engineering schematics
  • Intermediate troubleshooting skills
  • Documentation of materials consumed and completed repairs
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a cross-functional team

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent with 0-3 years prior experience

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Knowledge of Electrical Engineering theory; associate degree (technical discipline) is preferred
  • Electronics / RF or Digital Troubleshooting Experience preferred
  • Experience with L3Harris RFCD products and assembly processes is preferred
  • Accurately document problems found, and repairs completed within RMA tracking system
  • Able to perform LabVIEW driven automated tests
  • Familiar with test equipment, i.e. Signal generators, oscilloscopes, power meters, spectrum analyzers
  • Able to read and understand schematic diagrams
  • MS Office programs such as Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong Customer focus--Ability to interface with external customers on occasion
  • Capable of identifying opportunities for process improvements
