About this role
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Receive, inspect, identify, store, issue, and ship materials and inventory.
- Process Repair Orders (R/Os), core returns, AOG shipments, COMAT shipments, and daily material movements.
- Ensure all materials are properly tagged, labeled, documented, and traceable.
- Perform inventory transactions, cycle counts, and inventory accuracy audits.
- Prepare and process dangerous goods shipments in accordance with applicable regulations and company procedures.
- Coordinate with maintenance, planning, repairs, quality assurance, and other operational departments to support material requirements.
- Verify shipping and receiving documentation, including Bills of Lading (BOL), packing lists, transfer orders, and other related paperwork.
- Prepare, package, label, and document outbound shipments while ensuring accuracy and on-time execution.
- Receive and verify inbound shipments, identifying shortages, damages, or discrepancies and reporting issues immediately.
- Monitor company email and assigned operational systems throughout the shift and respond to work assignments as required.
- Maintain accurate records and update operational tracking systems in real time.
- Safely operate company vehicles and complete required vehicle inspections and documentation.
- Perform routine warehouse inspections and maintain a clean, organized, secure, and safe work environment.
- Operate warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts, following company safety procedures.
- Support shift turnover by communicating open work, priorities, and operational updates to the incoming shift.
- Comply with all company policies, safety procedures, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Perform housekeeping duties throughout the shift to maintain warehouse readiness.
- Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
COMPUTER SKILLS (Required)
Candidates must be comfortable using computers throughout the workday and be able to:
- Navigate Windows operating systems.
- Use multiple web-based applications and company software simultaneously.
- Learn and operate inventory management systems such as TRAX or similar programs.
- Complete online training and computer-based learning modules independently.
- Use Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Follow electronic work instructions and accurately complete computer transactions.
- Troubleshoot basic computer functions such as browser settings, pop-up permissions, printing, and login issues.
- Accurately enter, retrieve, and maintain electronic records.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- One (1) year or more of warehouse, logistics, distribution, manufacturing, cargo, transportation, airport, airline, or related experience preferred.
- Experience supporting aircraft maintenance, AOG operations, inventory control, airline materials, or time-critical logistics preferred.
- Experience with inventory control, shipping and receiving, warehouse management systems, or RF scanning preferred.
- Previous SIDA badge holders encouraged to apply.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds with assistance when required.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, climb, and reach throughout the workday.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment and company vehicles.
- Ability to use computers, scanners, handheld devices, and standard office equipment.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, overtime, and rotating shifts as required.
- Position requires on-site attendance at the assigned work location.
CERTIFICATION & LICENSES
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record required.
- Forklift certification required within 90 days of hire.
- Ability to obtain and maintain additional certifications, licenses, federal background clearances, airport access credentials, security clearances, and a SIDA badge as required by the assigned operation.
