RESPONSIBILITES:
- Establishes and monitors systems for inventorying and ordering prostheses, implantable devices and other specialty supplies used in surgery and other procedural units.
- Responsible for coordinating supply processes for all units within Perioperative Services, procedural imaging and other units.
- Coordinates ordering, maintenance, and repair of operating room and other procedural equipment to ensure equipment is available and functioning properly during surgical, imaging and other procedures.
- Coordinates repairs with Medical Engineering and Facilities Management.
- Coordinates loaning or borrowing of equipment and supplies for surgical procedures.
- Coordinates with Environmental Services to ensure a clean working environment in the Operating Room and supply areas.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Two years of experience in hospital materials management or working with operating room supplies.
- Experience using personal computers.
