Employment Type: Full Time

Shifts Available: Days

Hours: 12-hour shifts – 7:00 pm to 7:00 am

Location: Saint John Hospital- Leavenworth, KS

From managing complex, acute illnesses to supporting post‑operative recovery, they provide hands‑on nursing care that truly impacts patient outcomes. Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but is not limited to):

  • Provide direct patient care, including hygiene support, mobility assistance, and comfort measures.
  • Monitor vital signs, document observations, and report changes in patient condition.
  • Administer medications as prescribed and observe for reactions or side effects.
  • Perform wound care, dressing changes, and assist with procedures within the state LPN scope.
  • Collaborate with Rn's, physicians, and the care team to support individualized care plans.
  • Assist with discharge planning and provide patient/family education on treatments and recovery.
  • Follow infection control practices and maintain accurate patient records.

Before we go any further, we do have some deal-breakers. You must have: 

  • Current and valid state license
  • Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current
  • IV certification upon hire (state-specific)
