Position
Louis Vuitton Americas is seeking a curious, motivated, and detail-oriented Merchandising Intern to join our Men's Merchandising team in New York City. This internship is designed for students who are looking to gain hands-on experience in luxury merchandising while building practical business, analytical, and cross-functional collaboration skills. The intern will support merchandising strategy and business performance across the Men's universe, including seasonal collections, product launches, assortment analysis, competitive research, and market insights. Through analytical projects, reporting, product launch support, and partnership with teams across the business, the intern will gain meaningful exposure to luxury retail, merchandising operations, and client-centric business strategies.
Job responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain merchandising reports, dashboards, and business recaps to analyze sales trends, inventory movement, KPIs, and product assortment opportunities across the Men's business.
- Support seasonal product launches by creating product knowledge tools, collecting retail feedback, and monitoring performance to inform merchandising decisions.
- Conduct competitive and market analysis to identify menswear trends, client preferences, and business opportunities within the luxury sector.
- Support preparation for buying meetings, product presentations, assortment reviews, showroom activities, and executive presentation materials.
- Coordinate sample tracking and organization for merchandising, product knowledge, training, and seasonal review needs.
- Partner with retail teams to gather qualitative feedback on product performance, client demand, and opportunities to strengthen the Men's assortment.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Retail, Visual Merchandising, Client Development, Retail Learning, and Finance teams while participating in team meetings, product trainings, store visits, and seasonal merchandising reviews.

Profile
We welcome applications from undergraduate or graduate students pursuing a degree in Business, Fashion Merchandising, Retail Management, Marketing, Supply Chain, or a related field. Candidates should bring curiosity, a willingness to learn, and an interest in luxury retail, men's fashion, merchandising, craftsmanship, client experience, and consumer trends. This role is well suited for someone who enjoys working with data, is comfortable using or learning Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, and is interested in strengthening analytical, problem-solving, communication, organization, and project management skills. The team values a proactive and collaborative mindset, attention to detail, adaptability in a fast-paced environment, and the ability to contribute positively to cross-functional partnerships. Previous internship or relevant work experience is welcomed but not required.
Compensation
- Undergraduate Interns will be compensated at: $20/hour
- Graduate Interns will be compensated at $25/hour
Criteria
- Currently enrolled undergraduate/graduate student pursuing a degree in related field of study
- Able and willing to work at assigned location or able and willing to relocate to NYC
- We welcome candidates that can commit to a full-time basis for up to 37.5 hours per week from September 2026 to December 2026.
- Legally authorized to work in the US
This position requires 4 days per week on site in the Louis Vuitton Corporate Office, located in the heart of Midtown Manhattan.
