The Merchant - Lunchbox Snacks is responsible for developing and executing category strategies that align with long-term business objectives. This role oversees pricing, promotion, and channel strategies while managing profit and loss for a moderately complex category. The Merchant leads supplier negotiations, drives customer-focused decisions across channels, and manages team performance to achieve financial targets. Utilizing data insights and cross-functional collaboration, the Merchant supports assortment, replenishment, and modular planning to enhance the customer experience. This position demands strong leadership, strategic decision-making, and a commitment to operational excellence within a dynamic retail environment.

What you'll do:

• Develop and execute category strategies aligned with long-term business objectives, analyzing market trends and customer behavior.
• Manage profit and loss responsibilities, making pricing, promotion, and inventory decisions to meet financial targets.
• Lead supplier negotiations, establishing terms, performance metrics, and communication protocols.
• Oversee channel strategy and collaborate with supply chain partners to optimize product availability and delivery.
• Guide team performance through coaching, development, and task prioritization.
• Utilize data analysis and visualization tools to inform decisions and drive category growth.
• Support execution of merchandising features, item setup, and modular assortment strategies.

What you'll bring:

• Proven experience in category strategy development and execution for moderately complex categories.
• Strong financial management skills, including profit and loss ownership and budget forecasting.
• Ability to analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitive landscape to inform decisions.
• Expertise in supplier management, including negotiation and performance tracking.
• Demonstrated team management capabilities with a focus on coaching and development.
• Proficiency in leveraging data analytics and digital tools to drive strategic initiatives.
• Excellent decision-making skills with a customer-centric and omni-channel mindset.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
