Description

We are seeking a dependable Heavy Equipment Operator to join our production team. You will be responsible for operating industrial equipment to move raw materials, finished products, and supplies throughout the plant while ensuring safe, efficient, and uninterrupted production processes.

Requirements

Job Responsibilities

• Operate a 10- or 20-ton crane throughout the manufacturing facility moving modules weighing anywhere from 1 ton to 40 tons. 
• Move steel products around warehouse and load into containers
• Keep the bay clean and organized
• Monitor quality while handling products
• Be responsible for using either a sit-down or stand-up forklift
• Assist with other duties within plant as assigned

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience operating a 10-20 ton overhead crane in a manufacturing plant
• Strong Math skills * Must be able to lift 50+ lbs.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical work for extended periods.
• Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
