We have an exciting opportunity for a Mobile Servicing Systems (MSS) Robotics Systems Engineer to join the team with Barrios, a teammate company.We are seeking a highly motivated Systems Engineer to support the Mobile Servicing System (MSS) Subsystem Manager as part of our long-standing partnership with NASA. This role involves providing comprehensive engineering support for the integration of space station hardware with the International Space Station (ISS), focusing on robotic systems.

​As an MSS Robotics Systems Engineer, you will:

• Support the robotics systems engineering team in integrating space station hardware with the ISS.

• Contribute to end-to-end engineering activities including requirements definition, design, integration, testing, verification, and on-orbit operations for ISS utilization customers and system providers requiring robotics support.

• Establish and define robotics systems requirements for MSS end users.

• Provide technical consultation to end users to ensure proper application of MSS requirements in their system designs.

• Conduct analytical assessments of end-user designs to identify potential needs for non-standard services, such as robotics testing at Johnson Space Center facilities.

• Guide end users through verification processes, ensuring they provide adequate evidence for successful verification closure.

• Review and approve verification data submissions for compliance with MSS requirements.

• Support programmatic forums, including ISS boards, panels, project reviews, and regular team meetings.

• Support the identification and resolution of technical and safety issues related to robotics in ground processing, flight environments, visiting vehicle operations, and on-orbit transfers.

• Assist the MSS Subsystem Manager in reviewing program documentation and assessing potential impacts on robotic systems.

• Provide engineering support for resolving robotic-related issues during the design, testing, and operational phases of payloads and visiting vehicles.

• Perform other related tasks as assigned to support the Flight Systems Branch and broader engineering initiatives.
