Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Organize MRB routers and ensure all routers are scanned and filed in the correct system location.
- Maintain full traceability of MRB travelers and associated parts, verifying they remain in the proper physical and digital locations.
- Update and maintain the MRB Tracker daily to ensure dispositions are completed within required timelines.
- Move parts promptly once disposition is issued (e.g., rework, scrap, return-to-vendor, repair).
- Ensure MRB parts and travelers continue moving through the process to meet span-time requirements.
- Coordinate with Quality Engineers, Production, and Planning to ensure timely resolution of nonconforming material.
- Support internal and customer audits by providing MRB documentation and traceability records.
- Maintain good 6S practices in MRB storage and work areas.
- Perform other Quality support tasks as required.
Required Skills:
- Strong computer proficiency (Outlook, Excel, Word, data entry systems).
- Ability to use or learn ERP, QMS, or MRB tracking software tools.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to interpret basic quality documentation, travelers, routers, and disposition codes.
- Strong communication skills to coordinate cross-functionally.
- Ability to become forklift certified (training can be provided).
- Overhead crane certification preferred or ability to obtain.
Experience & Education
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 1–3 years of experience in manufacturing, quality, logistics, inventory control, or similar roles preferred.
- Experience in aerospace or metal forging environments is a plus.
