Position Summary

The National Director of Asset Management drives STERIS’s standardization and optimization consulting business, leading national revenue growth, operational excellence, and team performance across the healthcare continuum. This role owns a blended revenue strategy spanning capital, consumables, and service contracts, ensuring scalable, sustainable growth. Partnering with health systems, ambulatory surgery centers, and clinical leaders, the Director builds and leads a high-performing field team that delivers impactful solutions to sterile processing departments, surgical suites, and supply chain organizations nationwide. This leader also defines and executes STERIS’s enterprise approach to supporting multi-hospital systems, strengthening strategic partnerships and elevating customer outcomes at scale.

What you will do as National Director, Asset Management:

  • Drive growth and expand STERIS’s presence in ambulatory surgery centers through a comprehensive go-to-market strategy spanning products and services
  • Lead and oversee all elements of ASC customer relationships, ensuring alignment across sales, service, and delivery teams
  • Guide account management and implementation teams to maintain strong, high-quality customer partnerships
  • Improve customer experience and Net Promoter Score across all major touchpoints
  • Design and implement standardized service delivery frameworks to ensure consistent, high-quality outcomes
  • Develop proprietary tools, workflow assessments, and benchmarking capabilities to strengthen clinical differentiation
  • Identify and integrate emerging technologies to streamline processes and enhance the data ecosystem
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and profitability within the ASC channel
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Integration, and field leadership to prioritize and execute productivity plans
  • Develop forecasts, strategic plans, budgets, and executive presentations for senior leadership review
  • Contribute to annual business planning, pricing strategy, and service line development with VP-level stakeholders
  • Align sales forecasting and operational delivery through effective S&OP processes and performance monitoring
  • Influence and align stakeholders across a complex, multi-tiered organization to achieve revenue goals
  • Develop and execute customer penetration strategies, managing agreements from RFP through renewal or termination
  • Represent STERIS at key industry associations, conferences, and GPO-sponsored events

The Experience, Skills, and Abilities Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree; MBA preferred
  • 15+ years or progressive experience and proven track record of sales account management and business development with expertise in working at the C-level in large healthcare groups.
  • Experience managing large complex accounts, selling high 7-figure solutions, requiring strategic partnership and engagement.
  • Extensive knowledge of healthcare and/or Supply Chain/ Materials Management. 

Pay range for this opportunity is $167,450.00 - $216,700.00.  This position is eligible for bonus participation.

 

Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed.  Pay rates are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to local labor market costs, years of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, foreign language fluency, etc.
