About this role

SUMMARY:

 The Network & Security Analyst will play a pivotal role in modernizing Lexington Clinic’s technology infrastructure. Reporting to the Cloud Engineering Director, this entry-level position is designed for a versatile technologist who can bridge the gap between core networking and modern cybersecurity operations.

The primary focus of this role is to assist in the transition from legacy on-premise infrastructure (Cisco/VMware) to a Cloud/SaaS-first environment (Azure/Office 365) while simultaneously maturing the organization's security posture. You will serve as a "force multiplier" for the IT team, helping to build out SOC capabilities, manage vulnerability dashboards, and ensure HIPAA/PCI compliance.

 PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 Required: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred: Actively pursuing a Graduate Certificate or Master's coursework in Cybersecurity or Information Assurance. 0-2 years of experience in IT, Networking, or Cybersecurity (Academic/Internship experience accepted). Demonstrated experience with vulnerability remediation and security best practices in a university or enterprise setting.

Security Tools: Hands-on experience with Splunk (for data analysis/logging) is strongly preferred.

Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with Microsoft Azure ecosystem and cloud integration.

Scripting and Automation: PowerShell and Python preferred. Working knowledge of C/C++ or other systems-level languages a plus.

OS: Strong working knowledge of Linux environments.

 PHYSICAL GUIDELINES:

 Physical guidelines include the ability to move, traverse, position self, remain in a stationary position and negotiate steps for up to 8 hours per day.
