About this role

About the Department

Join the Alaska Court System’s Networking team and help power the systems that keep justice moving! We’re looking for a tech-savvy problem solver who enjoys working with servers, networks, and cutting-edge tools. In this role, you’ll install and maintain Datacenter/WAN/LAN infrastructure, and manage systems like Microsoft Windows Server, Exchange, SQL, Citrix, antivirus software, and more—keeping our critical technology running smoothly.

You’ll troubleshoot network issues, fine-tune system performance, and make sure users have secure access to the tools they need. From supporting local and wide area networks to enhancing digital communication systems, your work will have a real impact every day. You’ll collaborate with state agencies and vendors, plan for emergencies, and help shape the future of court technology.

If you like variety, this job delivers—you’ll even travel to remote court locations across Alaska to set up or repair systems, bringing high-quality tech support wherever it’s needed. Every day brings new challenges and the chance to make a difference.
