Title: North America Energy Manager
Location: Houston, TX
Salary: $135,000 - $165,000
Schedule: Hybrid schedule available of up to 2 days remote per week available
North America Energy Manager Essential Job Functions:
- Administer the energy contracts for Olin’s manufacturing sites including Bécancour, Charleston, Freeport, McIntosh, Niagara Falls, Plaquemine, and Saint Gabriel with focus primarily aligned to Olin's regional facilities.
- Co-manage key contracts for utilities such as natural gas, steam, condensate, and water through cross-functional collaboration with Olin's business services.
- Continuous coordination with production planning to manage operational power supply and energy costs against real-time market dynamics.
- Provide market intelligence and analysis to finance for progressing Olins hedging strategy for natural gas and ethane.
- Provide regular energy cost reporting and forecasting to energy team.
- Continuously improve Olin's systems for managing risk and volatility in the energy markets.
North America Energy Manager Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree*; Business, Supply Chain, or Engineering disciplines preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience; Chemicals or Energy/Power industry experience preferred.
- Prior Energy/Power Procurement experience strongly preferred.
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements required; SAP, SalesForce, and advanced Excel skills preferred.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to identify and prioritize actions concurrently across large-scale projects.
- Proficiency coordinating resources across various organizational functions to achieve desired business results; Cross-functional experience (Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance, Customer Service, Commercial, etc.) preferred
- Prior Olin experience in a relevant position and/or understanding of Olin's work processes and business networks preferred.
