Job Overview:
Responsibilities for overseeing the daily operations of the hospital environment unit, ensuring high-quality patient care, staff performance, regulatory compliance and efficient workflow management. This leadership role combines clinical expertise with administrative and personnel management responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• supervise and support nursing staff - hiring, scheduling, training and performance evaluations.
• ensure safe and effective patient centered care delivery
• coordinate patient flow, admissions, discharge and staffing levels
• collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and hospital leadership
• monitor compliance with healthcare regulations, policies and accreditation standards
• manage budgets, supplies and resource allocation
• address patient concerns and promote patient and staff satisfaction
• lead quality improvement and safety programs
• mentor and develop nursing staff and charge nurses

Required Certifications/Licenses/Experience:
-Active Registered Nurse (RN) in Indiana or other compact licensure state

Preferred: Certifications/Licenses/Experience:

• Five years hospital clinical nursing experience recommended
• One year of nursing management experience preferred
• Demonstrates leadership, creativity, and management skills
