Overhead Electrician for the Overhead Transmission Maintenance Department within Aerial shall follow proper safety and work practices. Ensure productivity by communicating activity to the crew leader. Adhere to company policies and procedures. Participate in storm restoration as required. Employees will be required to climb transmission towers in excess of 200 feet.  Meet, if applicable, any physical restrictions including but not limited to a safe weight limitation of 250 lbs. and other applicable physical restrictions required by the helicopter supplier and/or helicopter and related equipment manufacturer specifications.  Work scope will include but not limited to aerial patrolling and corrective maintenance via helicopter.

**All regular OHT Helicopter employees will receive an additive of 2.5% applied to all compensable hours while in the OHT Helicopter Group. This additive is in addition to the existing 1.5% additive as per the OHT Agreement.

• All employees in the Overhead Transmission group (OHT) will receive an additive of 1.5% of the maximum hourly rate of pay of the employee’s job Classification. This additive will be applied for all compensable hours while in the OHT group.
• This is a journey (A) level progression in Overhead Transmission (OHT). Anyone interested in becoming an Overhead Electrician in OHT should bid on the OH Basic School posting when available.

• Overhead Electrician that has maintained, at a minimum, three (3) years experience in the Overhead Transmission Group. Thorough knowledge of Overhead Transmission line construction standards and practices; and ability to read working drawings and sketches. 
• Selection of Alternates will follow sequence below:
  • OHT Overhead Electrician, in seniority order; followed by
  • OHT Crew Leader, in seniority order
• INTERNAL BIDDERS NOTE for ALTERNATE POSTINGS: If this is a posting for an alternate in OHT, note that employees do not change job classification or physical locations. Alternates will stay in current job and be available when needed in OHT and report OHT work through eTime to be paid properly during time worked as an alternate. This additive will be applied for all compensable hours while in the OHT group. Any eligible Overhead Electrician interested in becoming an OHT Alternate should submit a bid.
• Pass qualifying schools, as required
• Successfully demonstrate an overall good work record; such examples include attendance, safety, performance, and productivity. A review of the employees working file will be conducted.
• Successful completion of helicopter indoctrination and training including, pre-job discussion, resilience against motion sickness such as riding in helicopter, ability in transferring to and from a helicopter, and ability to proficiently perform maintenance work by Company approved methods.
• Successfully complete and maintain FERC and NERC qualifications. 
• Meet, if applicable, any physical restrictions including but not limited to safe weight limitations and other applicable physical restrictions required by the helicopter supplier and/or helicopter and related equipment manufacturer specifications.
