The role will center around designing, developing, testing, packaging, deploying, and maintaining software and associated data.   • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related field.  
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in the following:
    • Programming with C++ and Python scripting.
  • Any equivalent combination of related education, certifications, and/or experience will be considered.
  • All qualifications must be met by the time of employment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Exposure to, or hands-on experience with, computer physics simulation packages (e.g., GEANT4, MCNP, GATE).
  • An understanding of, or an interest in, the physics concepts of nuclear medicine imaging (PET/SPECT, radiation detection, instrumentation).
  • Experience developing data acquisition (DAQ) software or interfacing code with hardware for medical imaging applications.
  • System administration experience (specifically managing scientific computing environments).
