Client Onboarding Specialist
Dallas, TX (On-site)

Founded in 2020, Covered Holdings offers financing solutions that leverage the company's proprietary credit originations and servicing platform with a unique focus on the needs of non-prime Americans.  Their patient financing product, Covered Care, helps healthcare providers care for patients who otherwise would have been declined for traditional credit.  Their proprietary financing platform can underwrite and approve patients at every credit level – from prime to non-prime – with affordable rates and terms.  This flexibility allows healthcare providers to care for more patients without taking on any risk

The successful candidate will have had prior experience with review, onboarding and configuring the activation of new merchants/providers.  This role involves collaborating with various teams, managing documentation, and ensuring a high level of customer experience and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and organizational skills.

 

Job responsibilities:

  • This position works directly with merchants, sales representatives, IT group, and Compliance to facilitate smooth merchant onboarding
  • Conduct intake calls to understand merchant’s brand and it’s fit with Covered
  • Collaborate with sales team to secure proper documentation needed for merchant onboarding
  • Review and verify application items and provide recommendations or items of concern in a timely manner and submit to leadership for approval decisions
  • Accurately perform the merchant setup process to ensure proper settings for each merchant
  • Expert knowledge of product/program terms to properly communicate when necessary
  • Expert knowledge of merchant settings so all merchants are launched in an “optimized” manner
  • Ability to identify, outline and execute process improvements to increase onboarding efficiencies
  • Responsible for training new merchants on the platform and our guidelines.
  • Responsible for any technical questions as part of the onboarding process
  • Other duties as needed.
