We’re looking for an Operating Engineer Master who is more than just technically skilled—you’re a leader, an innovator, and a vital force behind safe, efficient, and reliable facility operations.

Position Duties

Three years of experience or training in the operation or maintenance of large stationary engines or mechanical equipment.

NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENT:
For those positions in which incumbents will be working with and handling refrigerants, possession of an appropriate EPA refrigerant recycling and recovery certification for technicians will be required (as required under Section 608 of the Clean Air Act, 1990).

Job Duties:

  • Operate chillers, cooling towers, heating water boilers, air handling units, air distribution systems, water pumps, chilled water and heating water loops, air compressors, building automation controls and associated systems for maintaining building environments.
  • Perform or coordinate preventative maintenance
  • Troubleshoots HVAC issues and alarm signals, identify causes and take corrective actions, which includes communicating with affected parties, supervisors, and any internal or external parties that would perform repairs.
  • Maintain familiarity with contingency plans at all times
