Operational Supervisor

Cape Fox Tours is seeking an Operational Supervisor (OS) to provide support to the Cape Fox Tours F&B operations in various positions.  The Operational Supervisor is the first go to for day-to-day operations regarding changes to schedules, meeting times, and customer support.   The OS oversees day to day tasks.

The hourly rate for this position has been established at $18. 

The above rate represents the company’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible compensation at the time of posting.  This job will be posted until filled or withdrawn.

• Perform beginning of day duties including checking in staff, turning on equipment, reviewing schedule, unlocking buildings, checking facilities, and so on
• Perform end of day duties including completing paperwork, cleaning and turning equipment off, locking buildings, disposing of trash, putting out items for the next day and so on
• Daily engage with staff and on-site management
• Handle day-to-day operational changes and communicate to all parties needing to know including staff, managers, and partners
• Work with staff to rectify any challenges or emergencies in a timely manner

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One year in customer service position or tourism experience preferred
• Previous experience in leadership preferred
• Ability to obtain F&B or Transportation required documents – Depends on the area designated for employment
• Ability to work under deadline pressure, handle stress and deliver professional results
• Ability to learn of local area, tour procedures, inclusions, and itineraries
• Strong written and oral communication skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail
• Self-motivated with minimal oversight
• Computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Ability to work various hours, weekends and holidays included
• Must adhere to Company policy on uniform and personal hygiene requirements
