Eaton’s IS AER FED division is currently seeking a Operations Analyst Co-op.

 

 

The hourly rate for this position is $19.75 per hour.

What you’ll do:

The Operations Analyst supports the Operations team by analyzing business processes, operational data, and performance metrics to improve efficiency, accuracy, and decision-making. This role is ideal for a student seeking hands-on experience in data analysis, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration within a professional business environment.

Essential Functions
•    Collect, clean, and analyze operational data from the ERP system (SAP S/4HANA) to identify trends, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
•    Support the implementation of an operational tiered management system for daily accountability using Eaton standards; ensure the system is structured, visual, and routine-based to enable rapid problem identification, escalation, and resolution.
•    Develop and maintain operational dashboards, reports, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
•    Assist with process documentation, workflow mapping, and development of standard operating procedures (SOPs).
•    Support continuous improvement initiatives by participating in LEAN Kaizen events, identifying root causes of operational issues, and proposing data-driven solutions.
•    Perform ad hoc analyses and special projects as required.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications
•    Pursuing a business-related degree, or equivalent, with a minimum GPA of 3.2.
•    Available for a typical six-month rotation (longer duration possible).
•    Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Preferred Qualifications
•    Prior experience working with ERP systems (SAP preferred).
•    Strong proficiency in Power Query and Power BI.
•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
•    Completion of at least one prior co-op rotation (second or third rotation preferred).
