About this role
What you will be doing:
The purpose of this position is to participate in Informatics & Technology Services (ITS) Operations to improve operational effectiveness of the enterprise. The Operations Analyst INTERN will be responsible for the following:
Support development of new process innovations related to customer implementations of Workforce Management technology innovations, including
Reviewing existing processes and implementing new processes to streamline existing workflow
Assessing and identifying methodologies to streamline data management
Support the adoption and effective utilization of Premier’s Workforce Management Technology solutions through the development of educational materials utilizing PowerPoint, Word, and other mediums.
Assist with developing/automating dashboards that depict the Key Performance Metrics related to Premier’s Workforce Management technology solutions.
This position will work with multiple individuals within the Workforce Management team, and receive guidance, strategic direction, training and coaching as appropriate.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibility #1 –30%
Design, develop and implement monthly and ad-hoc analytics and processes that identify and assess Key Performance Metrics
Responsibility #2 –30%
Create and review data assessment methodologies that can be used to streamline customer data management processes
Responsibility #3 –25%
Assist with the creation of member-facing educational content to support adoption of technology
Responsibility #4 –15%
Assist with ad hoc processes/projects as assigned
Required Qualifications
Work Experience:
Years of Applicable Experience - 0 or more yearsEducation:
High School Diploma or GED (Required)
Preferred Qualifications
Skills:
High levels of creativity and quick problem-solving capabilities
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, etc)
SQL experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong proficiency of Microsoft PowerPoint
Familiarity with advanced analytical tools (such as SAS or R) or business intelligence tools (such as Google Cloud, QlikView, Tableau, Domo, etc) a plus
Experience:
Must be currently enrolled in a full-time degree program and returning to the program after the completion of the internship
Education:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s (MA, MS, MBA) in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, Statistics, healthcare or related discipline
