Operations Assistant Intern (Summer Internship)

Location: Lincoln, NE
Schedule: M-F
Pay: $20.00 per hour

Position Summary

CL Construction is seeking a motivated and dependable Operations Assistant Intern to support our Director of Operations throughout the summer. This internship provides hands-on exposure to construction operations, project coordination, scheduling, logistics, and day-to-day business activities. The ideal candidate is organized, adaptable, and eager to learn about the construction industry.

Essential Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Operations with various administrative and operational tasks
• Support project planning, scheduling, and coordination efforts
• Help organize and maintain project documentation, reports, and records
• Track equipment, materials, and project-related information as needed
• Assist with data entry, spreadsheets, and operational reporting
• Participate in meetings and document action items and follow-up tasks
• Conduct research and gather information to support operational initiatives
• Assist with special projects and process improvement efforts
• Provide general support to multiple departments as needed

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Outlook
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities
• Self-motivated with a willingness to learn
