Career Opportunities: Operations Supervisor Trainee (499474)
Position Summary:
Emerging Leaders is a 16-week full-time development program designed for internal associates who have a strong work ethic, desire to lead people and are eager to grow their skills. This program includes on-demand learning materials, hands-on experiences in operations, and a leadership skill building cohort series. Trainees in the program will participate in targeted training sessions, shadow operational experts, and take on increasing responsibilities and projects as they progress through the program. By the end of the 16 weeks, trainees will be equipped with the skills, knowledge and leadership behaviors necessary to perform a supervisory role in the Distribution Center.
After successful completion of the program, Emerging Leaders will be placed into a Supervisor, Distribution Operations position.
Functional Training
Functional Training is delivered through rotating through the following modules: Safety, Human Resources, Food Safety, Receiving, Inventory, Shipping, Transportation and Facilities departments.
Leadership Skill Building
The Leadership Skill Building will develop the essential skills needed to engage and lead a team effectively. The training will be conducted in cohort sessions where the trainees will meet biweekly to discuss how they have applied each leadership behavior during their functional training.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
Trainees will be required to manage their time during their functional and leadership training, completing all knowledge checks and learning boosters. They will be required to actively participate in all functional and leadership training sessions with the Module Leads.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience

Must be employed full-time at ADUSA Distribution & Transportation for at least 6 months

Must have an attendance record of fewer than 3 points

High school diploma or equivalent required

Proven track record of meeting or exceeding performance expectations in current role

No active performance counseling’s or disciplinary actions on record

Flexibility with work schedules required during program, including shifts and overtime as needed

Computer Skills including but not limited to Microsoft Office and Microsoft Outlook
Preferred Qualifications & Experience (if any)

Ability to relocate upon graduation of the program (preferred, not required)

- Ability to relocate upon graduation of the program (preferred, not required)

- Ability to work in a –5 degree to 90+ degree Fahrenheit environment
