This Monday–Friday daylight position offers a schedule of 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM and requires 25–50% travel throughout the week. In this role, you will play a vital part in the patient care experience by performing ophthalmic screening and diagnostic testing prior to the patient’s visit with the provider, including refractometry, visual fields, pupil assessments, visual acuity testing, and patient history collection. Additional responsibilities include monitoring product expiration dates, maintaining contact lens trial inventories, and learning contact lens insertion and removal (I%26amp;R) instruction. Team members may also assist with front desk and optician-related duties as needed to ensure seamless patient care across the optical shop. • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
•  Experience as an Ophthalmic Technician in an Ophthalmology office or combination of related education and/or experience preferred.
•  Completion of AAO Home Study Course is preferred.
•  Prior optometric or ophthalmic experience preferred.
