Job Description
Position Summary
Engagement with parents and families of new CSU students during the new student onboarding process including Ram Orientation. Engagement with families primarily includes delivering presentations during Ram Orientation (in-person and virtual synchronous) and includes communication and outreach to families.

Essential Duties
Delivers presentations during Ram Orientation in both in-person and virtual synchronous modalities; customizes the presentation content for both first-year and transfer families.
Interprets CSU policy and procedures to parents and families navigating CSU; refers parents and families to appropriate campus staff and resources.
Provides guidance, coaching and training to university staff and administrators about parent and family engagement, opportunities, and the role families have with enrollment and student success.
Conditions of Employment
Pre-employment Criminal Background Check (required for new hires)
In-person availability to present during Ram Orientation sessions
Supervision
No supervisory responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications
Master’s Degree from accredited institution
Demonstrated experience working with parents and families of college students.
Demonstrated experience delivering large group presentations and facilitating discussion.
Eight years of recent work experience and knowledge of Colorado State University policies and resources.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience supporting programs or operations within the Colorado State University system.
Salary Range
