3Position Summary/Job Duties:
Hi!! We are seeking part-time nanny & house manager support for our family of 5! Mom & Dad are working professionals (doctor & accountant) and we have three daughters - 9, 8 & 5. We are looking for coverage between ~Noon and 5p, M-F. Our 8 year-old has special needs due to a rare genetic variant which limits her physical abilities but is a joy to be around. The primary responsibilities for the job include:
- Drive the eight year old to her therapies two afternoons per week (Mon & Tue)
- Watch the three girls after school each afternoon
- Performing daily + weekly household tasks such as family laundry, light housework, running errands (grocery shopping, making returns, etc), meal-prep, general organization (pantry, closets, etc), and other household tasks to keep it running smoothly and efficiently. No heavy cleaning needed as we have a cleaning service.
We intend to have multiple people cover this work if needed, so we are flexible to whatever works for your schedule!
PT/OT students --- we are also open to dedicated in-home PT/OT therapy sessions, as well. Or taking our daughter to those PT/OT appointments if you are looking for this experience specifically. Please inquire if you are interested in gaining this experience.
Nursing/PA/Medical students --- our daughter is stable but historically has been medically complex; she still has a g-tube though takes about 70% of her diet orally; this is an opportunity to learn a lot about caring from a medical perspective, as well.
Everyone --- we will train and support you every step along the way, so no worries if you don't have experience. If you're motivated and caring, you're already meeting our main criteria.
Please reach out for more information!!
