Planned Parenthood Southeastern Pennsylvania is the local affiliate of the country’s leading sexual and reproductive health care advocate and provider.   Planned Parenthood Southeastern Pennsylvania operates 10 health centers throughout Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia counties. Nationwide, Planned Parenthood affiliates operate more than 600 health centers, providing medical services and sexuality education for millions of individuals (adults and teens) each year. We also work with allies worldwide to ensure that all people have the right and the means to meet their sexual and reproductive health care needs.

We have an on-call position available as a Registered Nurse (RN) that would support our Surgical Far Northeast and our Surgical Locust locations.  This position is responsible to provide excellent customer service to patients in compliance with overall PPSP mission, goals and in compliance with federal, state and PPFA regulations. In addition, this position is also responsible to provide nursing care to patients during procedures and in the recovery area.

This position requires a candidate with a BSN Degree, Pennsylvania RN License, BLS, ACLS & PALS certifications and with OB/GYN or emergency room experience preferred; working knowledge of contraceptive technology required; demonstrated ability to relate to persons of diverse background and ability to communicate effectively with clients; previous experience interviewing and educating patients; ability to intervene in crisis situations; and demonstrated ability to effectively manage a medical emergency.
