What You'll Do

As a Retail Security Officer, you will play an important role in helping maintain a safe and welcoming shopping environment for customers and staff by:

• Maintaining a visible security presence throughout your assigned area
• Monitoring customer and employee activity to help prevent theft and policy violations
• Observing and reporting suspicious behavior or security concerns
• Providing exceptional customer service and assisting visitors when needed
• Responding appropriately to incidents and emergencies
• Completing accurate activity and incident reports
• Supporting store management by enforcing site policies and procedures
• Helping create a safe and positive environment for customers and employees

Qualifications

• Valid NYS Security Guard License preferred
• Previous security, retail, customer service, or related experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Ability to remain alert and attentive throughout the shift
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
• Strong observation and reporting skills
