Part Time Warm Water Swim Lessons Instructor in Waunakee

Little Strokes Swim Academy is the Madison area's premier swim school! Our professional instructors set us apart from other learn-to-swim programs. We only hire former competitive swimmers and swim coaches!

Schedule:

The pool is open during the following hours, with lessons mainly being taught weekdays from 9am-12:00pm and 3:00-7:30pm, and from 8am-1pm on weekends. You can pick which days/hours you'd like, and you do not need to work the entire shift. You will work the same hours each week and we would love to create a schedule custom tailored to your needs. We are currently in need of weeknight and weekend positions the most, but are willing to work with your schedule outside of those hours!

• Monday 8:00 am-7:30 pm
• Tuesday 8:00 am-8:00 pm
• Wednesday 8:00 am-7:30 pm
• Thursday 8:00 am-8:00 pm
• Friday 8:00 am-7:30 pm
• Saturday 8:00 am-1:00 pm

Salary/Wage Range:

Hourly $24.00 to $32.00

Position Summary/Job Duties:

Little Strokes Swim Academy has immediate openings for part-time Swim Lessons Instructors in our warm, 91° pool. Swim coaching, swim lessons instruction, or competitive swim experience is required, as is a high school diploma. Weekday, weeknight and weekend positions available, and we are willing to work with your schedule to create a great work environment. Enjoy a flexible schedule and free snacks during work! We are currently most in need of weekend morning and weekday evening instructors the most. 

The pool is located at 1029 Quinn Drive in Waunakee, just outside of Madison and a short drive from the UW, MATC, and Edgewood campuses. The starting pay rate for the right candidate is $24-$32/hour. Children of employees receive free swim lessons.

Qualifications:

• Competitive Swimming, Swim Coaching, or Swim Lessons Instruction experience 
• High School diploma
• Reliable transportation (public transportation does not reach Waunakee)

Optional:

Certifications in First Aid, CPR, and Lifeguarding are a plus to have, but we will provide certification where necessary
