PLUS point of care testing (inc. blood glucose), weights, vital signs, I%26amp;O, telemetry monitor application/reapplication, HAC %26amp; PSI prevention (TEDs/SCDs), and urine specimen collection.%26nbsp;%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EProvides diversional activities to reduce or prevent use of restraints.%26nbsp;%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EDocuments in the medical record according to established procedures.%26nbsp;%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3ECompletes clerical functions as needed by department.%26nbsp;%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EComplies with safety policies and procedures including standard precautions and understands policies and procedures for blood borne pathogen exposure.%26nbsp;%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3E*Strictly adheres to all policies and practices relative to patient care and hospital related information.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3E*Responds within the scope of the nursing assistant role to emergent situations.%26nbsp;%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3E*Provide companionship/supervision one in one with patients as required.%3C/li%3E%3C/ul%3E

• High school diploma or equivalent.
  
  Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
  Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Comprehensive Crisis Management (CCMC), CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire.
