About this role
You will lead disciplined delivery across a portfolio of product initiatives, establishing or optimizing scalable governance routines, ensuring clear risk and control alignment, and enabling strong cross-functional decision-making across Product, Technology, Operations, Compliance, Legal, Risk, and Sales/Client teams.
- Performs market research to understand the local needs and requirements for product improvements
- Develops and maintains a deep understanding of our products and services to effectively tailor collateral to specific markets
- Communicates regulatory guidelines to Product Managers to ensure our products meet risk and compliance requirements and are delivered on time
- Advises on the available standards, methods, tools, and applications relevant to the regulatory environment to ensure our products meet all necessary risk and compliance checks
- Build and maintain the product group governance operating model (cadence, forums, charters, RACI, artifacts, approval gates).
- Applies the defined regulatory testing procedures and uses discretion to identify and respond to complex cases when it is unclear whether a product meets market requirements.
- Builds and maintains working relationships with stakeholders across distinct functions including Legal, Risk, Compliance Operations, and Technology.
- Define and manage process for maintaining product documentation across multiple delivery channels and for audits/exams, operational risk assessments, change management, and policy/procedure adherence.
- Manages industry-wide governance framework and identifies inefficiencies for process optimization
- 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in Product, Technology, or Project Management
- Strong understanding of risk management and controls, regional and local nuances, and governance requirements
- Proven ability to comprehend and interpret market regulatory requirements to confirm and secure required market approvals and operational requirements
- Experience with payments and/or treasury concepts
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Demonstrated success leading complex, cross-functional programs with multiple dependencies and senior stakeholders.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication; ability to synthesize ambiguity into clear plans, trade-offs, and decisions.
- Experience in developing and executing regulatory testing procedures
- Strong attention to detail and execution of procedural requirements.
