About this role

G2 is looking for a curious, technically-minded intern to join our People Analytics & Systems team for a 10-week summer program. This is a hands-on role where you'll work at the intersection of HR, data, and AI — building tools that directly shape how our Employee Success team makes decisions and operates. If you're excited about using AI and automation to solve real business problems, this is the role for you.

What you'll work on:

  • Reporting & Workforce Planning

    • Build automated reporting dashboards that integrate data from our ATS (Ashby), HRIS (UKG), performance management, and employee survey platforms into a single, centralized view
    • Develop a dynamic headcount and workforce planning model that consolidates data across systems and updates in real time to support strategic decision-making
  • Systems & Operations

    • Analyze data from our internal HR ticketing system to identify workflow inefficiencies and surface opportunities for improvement
    • Enhance our knowledge base so our AI-powered chatbots can deliver faster, more accurate answers to employee questions
  • Talent Acquisition Analytics

    • Explore the relationship between interview scores and downstream performance outcomes to help us make better hiring decisions
    • Measure the effectiveness of our employee referral program and recommend improvements
    • Analyze our recruiting funnel to build more predictive pipeline models that help us anticipate hiring needs before they become urgent
  • Process Automation

    • Partner with cross-functional Employee Success teams to identify, improve, and automate high-impact HR processes using a combination of tools like Zapier, Slack, LLMs, and custom code
