About this role

This entry-level Human Resources Summer Internship is designed for students early in their academic careers who are interested in building foundational HR skills while gaining exposure to emerging technologies, including Artificial Intelligence (AI) in HR. The intern will support day-to-day HR operations across shared services, recruiting, training, and talent initiatives, while also contributing to projects that explore how AI can enhance HR processes, decision-making, and employee experience.

No prior HR experience is required—this role is ideal for individuals eager to learn, curious about people operations, and interested in how technology is shaping the future of work

Responsibilities

HR Operations & Shared Services

  • Provide administrative support for HR processes such as data entry, employee records, and documentation. 
  • Assist in responding to basic employee inquiries and routing requests appropriately. 
  • Help maintain accurate HR data in internal systems. 
     

AI in HR (Emerging Technology Focus)

  • Support projects that explore the use of AI tools in HR (e.g., resume screening, chatbots, analytics).
  • Assist in organizing, cleaning, and analyzing HR data to support AI-driven insights. 
  • Help document processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency using automation or AI. 
  • Conduct basic research on HR technology trends and present findings to the team. 
     

Policy & Process Support

  • Assist with reviewing and updating HR policies and internal documentation. 
  • Help ensure materials are organized, accessible, and aligned with company standards. 
     

Recruiting & Talent Acquisition

  • Support job postings, candidate scheduling, and interview coordination. 
  • Assist in tracking applicants and maintaining recruiting data. 
  • Participate in early-stage candidate engagement and employer branding efforts. 
     

Training & Development

  • Help coordinate onboarding sessions and training programs. 
  • Assist in creating simple training materials or guides. 
  • Track attendance and gather feedback from participants. 
     

Talent & Employee Experience

  • Support employee engagement activities and internal initiatives.
  • Assist with surveys, data collection, and basic reporting. 
  • Help with projects focused on improving the employee experience.
     

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Human  Resources, Business, Psychology, Data Analytics, or a related field. 
  • Strong interest in Human Resources, Business Operations and/or the use of AI and technology in business. 
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. 
  • Willingness to learn and take initiative.
