About this role

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in sales, business development, advertising, account management, marketing, or consulting.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in sales, business development or client relationship management.
  • Experience in media planning and buying (search, mobile). Knowledge of Search product in search coverage, performance max, automation, and shopping/commerce.
  • Track record of working with or for major digital/search/performance companies or agencies.
  • Ability to travel 25 - 40% of the time (within the U.S.)
  • Excellent communication skills, including experience presenting to large audiences.

As a Performance Agency Account Manager (PAAM), you are the "performance heartbeat" and catalyst of performance excellence, bridging the gap between high-level strategy and flawless execution. You will act as a trusted advisor to performance leadership, transforming complex product capabilities into bespoke growth strategies that drive measurable revenue.

Google's Large Customer Sales (LCS) teams are strategic partners and industry thought leaders to the world's leading brands and agencies. We continuously challenge how customers think about their business and how Google can support growth. We focus on helping these players navigate profound industry shifts and drive outsized business performance by competitively selling Google's full suite of advertising solutions across Search, YouTube, Measurement, and more. Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $88000 - $125000 (USD) + 35% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

  • Accelerate product adoption and performance revenue by navigating agency partners from foundational to advanced AI maturity. 
  • Design and deliver bespoke learning engagements that solve complex business challenges and demonstrate the holistic value of the AI-Powered Performance Suite (Search, PMax, Demand Gen) against agency key performance indicators (KPIs). 
  • Own the "Test-to-Scale" framework to source and scale pilots into permanent, sustainable revenue streams across the portfolio. 
  • Identify revenue "white space" and build business cases for new product pitches before leadership prompts. Proactively identify budget flight risks and execute mitigation plans with the Account Strategy Lead (ASL) while maintaining precise data hygiene. 
  • Orchestrate internal technical teams (professional services (PS), gTech) and collaborate with ALs to prove the impact of Google solutions.
