Position Overview

The Human Capital team comprises about 25 professionals committed to attracting, developing, and retaining excellent colleagues across the firm. The Global Talent Acquisition team is central to CRA’s success by identifying great talent to join our firm.  In this entry-level role, you will support terminal and professional degree recruiting, taking ownership for full-life cycle recruitment and coordinating day-to-day operational processes.  Position could be located in Boston, Chicago, New York, or Washington, DC. You will report to a Talent Acquisition Manager and work closely with the global Talent Acquisition team to drive the momentum of CRA through hiring top talent.

  • Identify and recruit qualified candidates using a variety of recruiting strategies including candidate research and outreach to academic programs (PhD placement coordinators).
  • Provide a seamless recruiting experience to candidates, coordinating candidate communication and updates.
  • Work with hiring managers to source and evaluate candidates, managing the overall candidate lifecycle including sourcing, assessment, and offer/attraction process.
  • Coordinate internal recruitment activities, including customization of interview schedules and recruiting teams.
  • Support reporting and operations.  Track all relevant recruiting data within our Applicant Tracking System (Greenhouse). Create reports and analyze data to evaluate recruiting efforts and provide data-driven insights on our investments. 
  • Understand and market CRA’s unique value proposition as an employer, suggest and execute cultivation and brand-building events.
  • Proactively research, identify, and communicate market trends, benchmarking our efforts against best practices.
  • Support the continued development of a PhD/professional degree internship program.
  • Participate in larger TA projects and initiatives, contribute creative ideas, and provide process improvement suggestions.

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a related discipline, with strong academic performance;
  • Up to 2 years related work experience sourcing and recruiting diverse talent in a complex, fast paced and high-volume business (professional services preferred);
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams), communication software (Zoom), advanced knowledge of Excel (v-lookups, pivot tables) desirable;
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems (Greenhouse, LinkedIn Recruiter preferred);
  • Curious and analytic thinker with a problem-solving mindset who finds the right resources to solve the issue;
  • Effective written and oral communication skills;
  • Demonstrated high level ownership and detail orientation;
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration capabilities;
  • Excellent time management and task prioritization;
  • Good judgment and ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information;
  • Empathic and warm personality, exhibiting patience and calmness in challenging situations;
  • Flexibility to work across North American and European time zones, potential evening and weekend work, and occasional overnight/international travel.

Work Location Flexibility

We currently ask that individuals spend 3 to 4 days a week on average working in the office (which may include traveling to another CRA office), with specific days determined in coordination with your practice or team.

Salary and other compensation
A good-faith estimate of the annual base salary range for this position in the US is $60,000 – $70,000. Starting pay within this range may vary based on factors such as education level, experience, skills, geographic location, market conditions, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is eligible for overtime pay in lieu of bonus incentive compensation.
