Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), Inpatient Rehabilitation, PRN

Location: 6700 Chad Colley Boulevard, Fort Smith, AR 72916

Schedule: PRN | As Needed | 1 weekend (Saturday or Sunday) a month and at least 1 holiday a year.

Are you a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant looking to make a meaningful impact every day? We’re seeking a compassionate, skilled PTA to support our Physical Therapists in delivering high‑quality, patient‑centered care. If you love working in a collaborative environment where your contributions truly matter, this role is for you.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Deliver physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
  • Assist patients with mobility, therapeutic exercises, and functional activities
  • Observe and document patient progress, reporting updates to the supervising PT
  • Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation
  • Help ensure a safe, clean, and supportive treatment environment
  • Contribute to a positive, team‑oriented workplace and step in with additional duties as needed

What You Bring

  • Associate’s degree from an accredited PTA program, required
  • Current PTA license in the state of Arkansas in good standing, required
  • CPR certification
  • Previous rehab or acute care experience (preferred but not required)
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
