About this role
Novant Health Apple & Wormer Plastic Surgery is seeking a new Physician Assistant for their growing Charlotte location. This is an exciting opportunity to join the team of 3 Physicians and 2 Advanced Practice Providers.
This role offers a dynamic mix of:
- Full-time schedule: Monday - Friday
- No weekend or call coverage
- Collaborative team environment with surgeons and APPs
- Supporting continuity of care within the operating room including a post-operative follow-up in ambulatory clinic.
Qualified candidates include:
- Physician Assistants (Open to new graduated with surgical rotation experience)
Responsibilities
- Rounding on surgical inpatients
- Evaluating and managing new surgical consults
- Assisting in the operating room, including scrubbing into surgical cases
- Supporting continuity of care within the outpatient setting
This is a unique opportunity to help build and shape a growing specialty program while working alongside experienced surgeons in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

What We're Looking For
Education: Master's Degree Required. Graduate of an NCCPA accredited Physician Assistant program required.
Experience: Physician Assistant is experience preferred, but is not required.
Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current PA license in appropriate state Required. NCCPA Certification and current DEA registry Required.
Additional Skills Required: Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing. Ability to work with management team and physicians; demonstrated customer service skills, interpersonal skills and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
