Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in a policy, legal, Trust & Safety, or technology environment.
- Experience with policy enforcement or implementation.
Preferred qualifications:
- JD, MBA, or Master’s degree.
- Experience with the development, implementation, and maintenance of policy.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills with attention to detail in an ever-changing environment.

The Policy Enablement and Delivery (PED) team is a dedicated group within the Consumer product area that serves as both a partner in generative AI (GenAI) policy scaling and an execution arm.
As a member of the Trust and Safety (T&S) team, you will manage the delivery and scaling of our generative AI policies. This is a priority for T&S leadership, and your work will impact user safety and platform integrity by supporting the final stages of policy implementation in partnership with enforcement teams. Your responsibilities will span the policy life-cycle, including initial launch, scaling, performance monitoring, feedback-driven iteration, and ongoing policy support for enforcement and escalations.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.US: $136000 - $196000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities
- Draft and manage GenAI Policy Standards, including maintaining specialized lists and guidelines to adapt to evolving technology.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to develop, implement, and launch GenAI policies, standards, and products that promote user trust and uphold Google’s core principles.
- Identify policy issues that may affect Google, understand their impact, manage policy escalations, and suggest improvements.
- Monitor and track policy performance against key metrics to ensure operational effectiveness and identify areas for improvement. Communicate and present effectively, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and across geographies.
- Work with sensitive content or situations and may be exposed to graphic, controversial or upsetting topics or content.
