Position: Practice Operation Improvement Specialist II
Travel required: Charlotte, Winston, Coast, Mountains, South Carolina

Employment Type: Full Time, M-F 8:00a-5:00p

As a Practice Operations Improvement Specialist II, you'll serve as a trusted operational consultant supporting physician practices throughout the Novant Health Medical Group.

• Partner with practice leadership and Central Operations to assess operational performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Analyze financial and operational data to drive informed decision-making and sustainable performance improvements.
• Evaluate workflows including patient registration, scheduling, front desk operations, clinical workflows, and practice efficiency.
• Lead and support operational improvement initiatives across multiple physician practices.
• Assist with onboarding new practices and integrating standardized operational processes.
• Support reporting, transactional research, and performance monitoring to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for Epic and other technology solutions used throughout Novant Health Medical Group.
• Develop and deliver workflow education and operational training to practice teams.
• Collaborate across departments to promote consistency, operational excellence, and exceptional patient experiences.
• Manage multiple improvement projects simultaneously while maintaining strong communication with stakeholders.

• Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, required. Bachelors, required. Bachelor’s degree required in healthcare administration, business, finance, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of management experience in the healthcare industry; physician practice management experience preferred, but equivalent leadership experience in a healthcare setting will be considered., required.
