Description

The AWS Partner COE Technology team is looking for an Initiatives Lead to drive high-priority strategic programs across our ISV partner portfolio. This role owns the end-to-end execution of cross-functional initiatives that accelerate partner adoption of AWS services, grow partner-influenced revenue, and deliver measurable outcomes for AWS customers.

You will operate at the intersection of partner development, product teams, sales, and marketing to design and launch mechanisms that scale. You are equal parts strategist, operator, and program leader. You thrive in ambiguity, move fast, and hold a high bar for execution quality.

Key job responsibilities
- Own and drive strategic initiatives across the Tech COE organization, from scoping through execution and measurement
- Build and maintain mechanisms (reporting cadences, dashboards, escalation paths) that ensure initiative health and accountability
- Author narratives, business cases, and program updates for senior leadership (VP/SVP level)
- Coordinate across geo sales leaders (NAMER, EMEA, APJ, AWSI) to drive consistent execution of global programs
- Partner with product, engineering, and GTM teams to translate partner needs into actionable workstreams
- Identify blockers, resolve dependencies, and escalate with precision
- Track and report input/output metrics, translating operational data into strategic insights
- Design enablement programs that drive seller and partner adoption of new initiatives

AWS Partner COE Technology drives strategy and execution for AWS's most strategic ISV partnerships. We work with partners like Salesforce, IBM, SAP, Sage, Oracle, and Workday to build joint solutions, grow customer adoption, and create new revenue streams on AWS. Our team operates globally and partners deeply with field sales, product, and engineering.

Basic Qualifications

- 10+ years of business development, partnership management, or sourcing new business experience
- Experience authoring and delivering executive-level narratives and business reviews
- Track record of managing cross-functional programs with multiple stakeholders across geographies
- Strong analytical skills with experience building metrics frameworks and operational reporting
- Experience working with ISV or technology partners in a cloud or SaaS environment

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working in a matrixed organization
- Experience with AWS services, cloud economics, or marketplace go-to-market models
- Familiarity with partner programs (co-sell, marketplace listings, migration incentives)
- MBA or equivalent experience in strategy or operations roles
- Demonstrated ability to write clearly at the L8+ leadership audience level

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
